LISA Fine Textiles, the international designer of fine silk fabrics and accessories, has opened its new store in Shanghai.
The brand is in the process of opening another shop in Shenzhen as part of its expansion into China.
The opening of Fine Textile Shanghai marks LISA’s latest international expansion in China, with a focus on expanding the brand’s footprint and offering more merchandise to Chinese consumers.
LISA has established offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.LISA Fine Materials was founded in 2011 in Shanghai by LISA founder and chairman Lili Li and her husband.
Lili and Lili’s husband and two sons also founded the company.
Lili is the daughter of a prominent silk merchant in the city, and the two founded LISA in response to her desire to make her son proud of his silk-making heritage.
Lisi was also a founding member of China’s Silk Road Economic Belt, an ambitious effort to build roads through China’s vast countryside.
Lisi was a leading voice for China’s silk industry as a key element in the Silk Road negotiations with the West, and she remains an outspoken critic of China.
